About Me
My curiosity became my craft — and that craft became my life in music.
I’m a North Hollywood–based guitarist, vocalist, and music educator offering private lessons, session guitar, and live performance across Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. I teach guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and voice both online and in person, bringing the clarity, musicianship, and student‑centered energy that define my work on stage and in the studio. Whether I’m supporting an artist’s vision or helping a student build confidence and technique, I approach every project with professionalism, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm.
When I was four, I started classical piano lessons — the training that helped me discover I had perfect pitch and gave me an intuitive connection to music. When I was 11, I asked for a drum set for my birthday. My mom brought home a guitar instead. I couldn’t have known it then, but she’d just given me the thing that would shape my entire life. I’m grateful every day. Thank you, Mom!

As an Educator
I teach privately — both in person and online — offering North Hollywood guitar lessons for players of all ages and levels. My lessons blend technique, theory, ear training, and creativity, always shaped around each student’s goals and musical interests.
Whether I’m working with beginners or experienced musicians, I focus on building confidence, musical understanding, and long‑term growth.
I keep the process collaborative, relaxed, and genuinely fun. Students receive clear practice steps and lesson notes through the online student portal, making progress easy to track and celebrate.
As a Performer
I work consistently as a session and performing guitarist in Los Angeles and Orange County, collaborating with artists such as Justin Klunk, Daniel Bonte, Kayln & the New Frontier, Silver Valley Music, and JT Harker. As a studio guitarist, I’m known for my ear, precision, creativity, and ability to adapt quickly to any musical environment.
Whether you need a soaring pop or rock lead, intricate jazz voicings, lush ambient textures, tight Nashville‑style rhythm work, or a faithful recreation of a specific guitarist’s tone or feel, I approach every part with intention and musicality. I’m available for session work, remote recording, co‑writing, and live performances across a wide range of styles.
My goal is always the same: make the song feel great and make the process easy — whether that means lead guitar, rhythm support, bass, keyboard parts, or vocal harmonies – whatever serves the music best.
Education & Training
My musical foundation was shaped early through classical piano, jazz performance, and choral work in the Seattle area. Throughout high school, I performed with the Overlake School Jazz Band and toured internationally with the Chamber Choir, including a performance at the International Choral Festival in Italy. The summer before my junior year, I attended Berklee College of Music’s 5‑Week Summer Performance Program, where studying with world‑class faculty confirmed my path toward a professional music career.
I went on to study at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music in its renowned Popular Music Performance program — one of the country’s most respected contemporary music programs. At USC, I built a reputation as a reliable, versatile guitarist, a foundation that now supports my work as a Los Angeles session guitarist and North Hollywood guitar teacher. Mentorship from world-class faculty refined my technique, musicality, and adaptability across genres, teaching me to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and deliver professional‑level parts in any setting, whether I’m recording for an artist or teaching a beginner.

Outside the Studio
After graduating from USC, I jumped fully into the Los Angeles music scene, building a career as a session guitarist, touring musician, and educator. My work has included teaching at Musicians Institute and Guitar Center, joining the indie alternative band MADUS as a co‑writer, lead guitarist, and vocalist, touring with LA artists such as Fiona Grey and Heather Cole.
A standout moment was performing at the Hollywood Bowl with RAINNE for 97.1 AMP Radio’s We Can Survive concert, opening for The Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift. Being on stage feels electric to me — the lights, the energy, the sense that the whole place is breathing with the music. Experiences like these continue to shape my approach as a Los Angeles guitarist who values preparation, versatility, and genuine connection onstage.
Early Roots
I started music at age four with classical piano, quickly developing a strong ear, a love for theory, and eventually discovering I had perfect pitch — a skill that still shapes how I play, teach, and record. But the moment I picked up a guitar, I knew I’d found my path.
Growing up in the Seattle suburbs, I split my time between piano lessons, school ensembles, musical theater, sports, and hours of practicing guitar in my room. The Pacific Northwest’s mix of grunge, indie, and jazz gave me a wide palette of sounds to explore and helped shape the eclectic style I bring to my work today.
