Pat Rector is a North Hollywood –based musician, guitarist, vocalist, and music educator serving Los Angeles, the San Fernando Valley and beyond. He offers guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and voice lessons for students of all ages, along with professional session guitar, remote recording, creative collaboration, and live performance support.

 

With training from Berklee and USC and more than 15 years of experience, Pat brings clarity, preparation, and a genuine, grounded approach to every lesson, session, and stage. He works with artists across rock, indie, pop, country, and singer‑songwriter styles from his North Hollywood home studio.

About Pat

Los Angeles–based guitarist, vocalist, educator, and collaborator

Pat’s musical journey began at age four and eventually led him to Berklee and USC’s renowned Popular Music Performance program. His career spans intimate venues to major stages — including the Hollywood Bowl — contributing guitar, vocals, and co-writing across genres.

Known for his versatility, preparation, and warm, collaborative presence, Pat brings thoughtful musicality to every project he joins. 

​

As an educator, he focuses on clarity, musicianship, and student-centered growth. He teaches guitar, bass, piano, ukulele, and voice — online or in person — helping students build confidence, technique, and musical understanding through supportive, engaging instruction. â€‹
